For a long time, I considered the Toyota Sienna to be the quintessential family travel vehicle.
Sienna rides smoothly, quietly and comfortably. Especially at highway cruising speed. It can accommodate seven or eight passengers, depending on the configuration you have.
Plus, the Toyota Sienna will last a very, very long time. In fact, iSeeCars.com recently named Sienna the premium minivan owners keep the longest (11.5% of original owners keep their Sienna for at least 15 years).
Yes, Sienna is the perfect vehicle for road trips. For the road.
But off-road? Not so sure about that.

Toyota Sienna Woodland Special Edition
Imagine a 2021 Toyota Sienna reaching 35 mpg. It can switch between gasoline and electricity on its own to give you the optimum balance between performance and fuel economy.
Sienna achieves this through the use of a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and electric motors. Team work.
Now add the all-new Sienna Woodland 2022 Special Edition. It’s time to level up here, guys.
Sienna Woodland (I’ll call it Sienna Woodland for short) allows drivers and their families to go places not normally reserved for, frankly, a Toyota Sienna.

Look for standard all-wheel drive (AWD) with increased ground clearance that builds on the 6.37 inches currently found on the 2021 Sienna. This official ground clearance has yet to be released by Toyota. But we know it will be higher from the ground. Useful for stumps, sticks and rocks in your path.
The Toyota Sienna Woodland 2022 features an on-demand electronic all-wheel drive system that works both on dry roads and in more slippery conditions like mud, sand, snow and dirt.
Sienna Woodland drives in FWD mode on dry ground, saving fuel. However, when your wheels start to spin, your Sienna can shift up to 80% of torque to the rear wheels. As required.
Talk about peace of mind when the road and driving conditions become less than favorable.

Thanks for reading everyone.
I’ve driven this redesigned fourth-generation 2021 Sienna several times. I find it has good acceleration (245 net hybrid horsepower). It is also quite smooth and quiet.
