The 2022 Toyota Sienna Woodland AWD Special Edition Van has extra ground clearance, a tow hook and a 1,500-watt power outlet.
By adding a little creative courage, the 2022 Toyota Sienna Woodland Special Edition AWD minivan gets closer to crossover territory. Painted with an exclusive Cement paint color, which resembles one of the colors of the Toyota Tacoma, the Woodland stands out. Toyota added roof rails (with crossbars), a tow hitch, and dark chrome pieces to the Sienna. The main improvements we are excited about are the overlanding additions.
Raised just over half an inch, the Toyota Sienna Woodland Special Edition AWD 2022 minivan isn’t exactly designed to bounce off rocks. Fortunately, this little lift will help him in rough road conditions, like snow. It has the same AWD system as last year, which is fully electronic. An electric motor powers the rear wheels.
The Sienna Woodland Special Edition contains some cool goodies!
The interior is also getting updates. Toyota added black seats with contrasting orange stitching and a powerful 1,200 watt JBL audio system. There is also a 1500 watt outlet, ideal for powering the camping appliances.
All in all, it’s a compelling package for a minivan. While I’m not sure that such a small elevator will change much, it can reduce efficiency slightly. I found the 2021 Sienna Hybrid to be ridiculously efficient, and the tech package is awesome. You can read about it here).
One final note: Toyota says it will donate $ 250 from each sale to the aforementioned National Environmental Education Foundation.
Andre and Roman, who are on a mission at Plano TX (Toyota’s US headquarters) give us a quick tour of the minivan. It might not look like it at first glance, but this minivan can start the march to crossover territory. If Toyota can make it cooler, some crossovers might be in trouble.
