Toyota made a surprise announcement earlier this year with the Sienna Woodland Edition, an adventure-themed minivan that has improved its looks and capabilities. Toyota did not disclose the model’s price, but a new report from Direct Cars highlights how much the family carrier will cost. The publication got its data from the automaker’s latest ordering guide, and it will retail for nearly $ 50,000 when it goes on sale this fall.
Customers will pay over $ 46,565, which includes the destination charge of $ 1,215. A fully loaded model peaks at $ 48,000, although the most expensive Sienna model remains the Platinum version at $ 51,975. The Woodland Edition is a $ 3,500 premium over the regular all-wheel drive XLE offering. The additional cost includes more than just an appearance package, which is quite common for a package like this. However, Toyota has actually increased the capabilities of the van.
Toyota will give the Woodland Edition higher ground clearance, although the company is not saying how it was achieved. The lift – about half an inch – is noticeable in the photos above. The model also receives roof rails with crossbars to carry additional cargo, although those who wish to haul even more stuff will be happy to know that the Woodland also receives a 3,500-pound (1,587 kilograms) tow hook. ). It is also available with an exclusive paint color and other visual enhancements, such as dark chrome accents.
Inside, Toyota features second-row captain’s seats, a 1,200-watt JBL audio system, black sport seats with contrast stitching, heated front seats, plenty of USB outlets and more. Minivans don’t get the love they deserve for their utility utility – they’re nearly unmatched in comfort and convenience – but the Sienna Woodland shows that convention can be shattered. It’s not a dedicated off-road SUV like the Bronco or Wrangler, but it looks tough enough for a weekend in the wild.
